don’t get scammed. personally, I’ve gotten scammed quite a bit online. here are a few tips I’ve learned on how to not get scammed. If the deal is too good to be true, it is. If someone is selling a brand new iphone xs max for $200, its a scam. When buying stuff never pay through friends and family on paypal, you can’t get money back of you’re scammed paying through f & f. if you pay goods and services, or invoice, paypal has your back and will refund you if you’re scammed.

Digital Citizenship In Our School
King’s Schools already has started teaching kids about digital citizenship by making them sign a form before the school year starts. Most of the time kids will just sign without reading it though and this is a problem. If we really want kids to participate in learning about digital citizenship we need to teach it to them in class. This CyberWise class has already started doing that. i think that once a month we should have someone come in out and talk to classes about digital citizenship, (like Mrs. Folkins but instead they talk about Digital Citizenship.) If we can successfully teach kids at a young age about digital citizenship we can help kids not to get scammed and to be smart on the internet. Then the internet will be more safe for everyone!
what are other schools doing about digital citizenship
Digital Citizenship is a growing topic in our country. Many schools have started classes and programs related to digital citizenship. One school is Anderson community school Indiana. They have started teaching students about digital citizenship through elementary school, Junior High, and High School. They made a video for kids and parents to watch, this was a smart choice because kids would rather watch an interactive video rather than read a paper about it. This school says that with the internet growing so rapidly rules are being as we go. for example, people have been driving forever so there are rules and you get taught before you do it. It is not like that with the internet. you do not get taught, you just get handed a device and go. To help their students Anderson School has started to teach their students about safety online they have started teaching kids in class about digital citizenship. I believe that King’s should in fact have a class or in a class teach kids bout online safety. Online safety is a very important topic as what you do online can get you in a lot of trouble but the internet can also be very useful and helpful. overall, I believe that all schools should teach their students about digital citizenship and staying safe online.
